RESEARCH INTERESTS

Mineral liberation, simulation and prediction, particle and ore characterization, process characterization and modelin and quantitative image analysis.

Mineral liberation, its measurement and characterization. Liberation simulation and prediction. Particle and ore characterization.

Process characterization and modeling. Mineral processing simulation.

Quantitative image analysis and stereological correction. Automated image analysis.

Micromachines

Micromachines

Metallic materials are used in various sizes from airplanes to micromachines that would fit on the head of a pin. This image shows metallic gears in a micromachine. The size of the components are measured in micrometers (1 millionth of a meter).
