• Environmental recovery and remediation of heavy-metal contaminated waste streams and effluents
• Bio-assisted aqueous processes including bioleaching and phytoremediation
• Thermodynamic modeling of aqueous systems
• Processes involving gold, silver, platinum, PGMs, nickel, copper, zirconium, beryllium, and selenium
