MISSION

Commercialization of magnetic materials and processing technologies with a view to generate employment in the State of Utah. In particular, the center strives to develop and bring to market engineering and consumer products based on novel magnetostrictive materials discovered and developed at Magnetic Materials Laboratory (MML).

HISTORY

Established in 1991, Magnetic Materials Laboratory (MML) has been engaged in research and development in several areas of magnetic technologies including

  • Magnetostrictive Materials
  • Magnetic Storage Media
  • Nd2Fe14B based High Energy Permanent Magnets
  • Thin Film and Bulk Material Processing
  • Advanced Materials Characterization
